FAQ

Hello all!

Here's some frequently asked questions I've been getting- hopefully these answers are helpful to you!

When is the reunion?
Saturday, August 13th, 7:00 pm

Where is the reunion?
At the Alumni House on the University of Utah Campus. The address is 155 South Central Campus Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84112.

Are there daytime events being held, i.e. a park play date for families, etc?
The reunion committee is not officially sponsoring any daytime events and focusing solely on the reunion dinner. However, there are unofficial events being coordinated (for example, the Golf Scramble the morning of the 13th.) We encourage you to organize your own daytime events with your friends if you wish. The Facebook group is a great way to organize these events.

What is the dress code for the reunion?
It's casual. We are having a fiesta-themed dinner on the patio of the Alumni House. We want you to look nice but also be comfortable!

Once I've purchased my tickets, what happens next?
We are not issuing paper tickets to the reunion, so your name will be on a list at the door. Those who purchase tickets in advance won't have to wait in line as long and will also have a pre-printed name tag for themselves and guests.

Edited to add:
Are tickets refundable?
Unfortunately, tickets are not refundable. However, you may find someone else to purchase your tickets and we can transfer them.

Are children allowed at the reunion?
Even though the reunion is a casual theme, it's still an adult-only event. We encourage you to make childcare arrangements in advance. The exception would be for pre-mobile, babes-in-arms.

If I can't attend the reunion, can I still make a donation to the reunion costs?
That is definitely an option and very generous! Contact Barbara or Katie or leave a comment to donate.

Please leave a comment with any additional questions!!

We want your pictures!

Hello, fellow Leopards! (Man, I'm so cheesy.) This is a call for your high school photos! The reunion committee is starting to gather photos for our reunion so we can have a little walk down memory lane. So far, it's going to be a slideshow made up of only my pictures, which seems a little silly. So please leave a comment with your email if you have photos you'd like to submit. The earlier you submit your photos, the more time I have to scan them in!

Get your tickets now while they are only $18!

This is a friendly reminder to buy your reunion tickets while they are still at the lowest possible price- only $18 per person!

On June 1st, the price will be raised to $25!

We need to start purchasing things for the reunion and the only way to do that is if you buy your tickets. Summer is almost upon us and the reunion will be here before you know it!!

Click our PayPal link in the left sidebar to purchase your tickets online (either by checking account or credit card).

Tres Hombres in the house

The reunion committee is working hard to plan a fun night for us all (interested in helping? Send an email to easthighschool2001@gmail.com).

The reunion will be held at The Alumni House on the University of Utah campus. It's a great venue with an outdoor patio that's lovely in the evening. We have a casual fiesta theme, with dinner by Tres Hombres. It will be a fun, relaxed evening for us to catch up and spend time together.

Don't forget to get your tickets (via the PayPal link on the left sidebar)! We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome!

Welcome to the East High Class of 2001 blog! The 10 year reunion is coming up in a few short months- August 13th will be here before we know it!

Buy your tickets now through the PayPal link on the sidebar. This is your chance- tickets are only $18 a person and this is the absolute lowest price you will see! We'll have to start raising the price as we get closer to the date. Save some money, BUY NOW! Many other reunions cost up to $50 a person (I have attended one!) so this is a really great price. Please support the reunion committee and buy your tickets early!

The reunion committee (a small, but dedicated group of your classmates) is working feverishly to ensure that the reunion is fun and memorable. You can help us by 1) buying your tickets (obvious, but necessary!) and 2) making sure your classmates know about the reunion blog and Facebook group. We have just over 100 members in our Facebook group which we are thrilled about, but our graduating class was about 500 people. We need to find everyone! Please spread the word to your network of friends.
